Instructional Design Projects
Here is a selection showcasing some of my most recent projects.

Elevating Expertise in Instructional Design and Technology: MicroMasters Certification Course Achievement
Earning my MicroMasters certification from the esteemed University of Maryland Global Campus was a formidable journey marked by the completion of a demanding online portfolio capstone project. This project serves as a profound testament, encapsulating the comprehensive 32-week coursework curriculum and the culmination of my meticulously crafted project submissions. It stands as a testament to my unwavering dedication to mastering the art of instructional design and technology, reaffirming my commitment to excellence in this transformative field.

Revolutionizing Organizational Excellence: A Monumental Performance Management System Implementation
One of my notable achievements with ACCGov was orchestrating the groundbreaking deployment of our first Performance Management System to over 1500 employees. This project allowed me to showcase my ability to oversee and manage large-scale initiatives, expertly breaking down and structuring the project's rollout, and crafting tailored training modules for distinct user segments. It not only elevated the efficiency of our workforce but also set a remarkable precedent for the organization's commitment to excellence and continual improvement.

Demonstrating Proficiency in Instructional Design Technology Through Microlearning Presentation
For this project, I harnessed the power of Articulate Rise360, Animaker, Microsoft Forms, Flipsnack, downloadable job aids, and the use of QR Codes to engage learners while showcasing our Core Values as a central pillar in our organizational culture. Through this initiative, I aimed to not only emphasize their significance but also to foster a heightened awareness of their profound importance.
This class also contains links to other related courses and channels in our Learning Management System (LMS) environment, which is not accessible to external parties at this time.

Unlocking Knowledge Through Gamification
In a quest to enrich the learning experience, I innovatively designed a scavenger hunt game that served as a dynamic orientation tool for employees embarking on a specialized hybrid leadership course and eLearning journey. This immersive team-based adventure ingeniously interweaved our organization's Core Values into the learning process.
As the game reached its exhilarating conclusion, participants not only successfully located and secured essential course materials but also seamlessly transitioned into the engaging realm of our online learning environment. This transformative approach not only made learning enjoyable but also underscored the vital connection between our values and the acquisition of knowledge.

Stepping Up to Supervision Final Project Rubric: "Create a Marketable Training Content Package"
In the Stepping Up to Supervision Final Project, learners are tasked with taking their previously delivered Activity Presentation and expanding upon it to develop a comprehensive training class. This final project is presented as a potential training content package available for purchase by the Organization Development (OD) department. Participants are challenged to step into the role of Instructional Designers, creating content with market appeal.
During the 30-minute presentation to OD, students must effectively communicate the following key points:
-
Value Proposition: Explain why OD should invest in purchasing your learning package. Highlight the unique selling points and benefits it offers to the organization.
-
Course Attractiveness: Articulate why prospective participants should enroll in your course. What makes it compelling, relevant, and valuable for their professional growth?
-
Employee Impact: Demonstrate how this course directly contributes to the development and enhancement of ACCGov employees' skills, knowledge, and overall performance.
This project not only pushes learners to attain expertise in their chosen subjects and craft interesting instructional content but also compels them to engage in strategic thinking and master the art of persuasive communication.
The organization stands to gain a valuable asset: LMS-ready course material without incurring any additional expenses. This approach is rooted in powerful learning theories, combining the principles of Connectivism and Constructivism, all while employing Authentic Assessment methods.

Empowering Cyber Resilience: Spearheading IT Security Training
In a dynamic partnership with the IT department, I took charge of a mission-critical IT Security Training initiative. This endeavor involved seamless collaboration with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to shape the content, orchestrate the mandatory training rollout, and ultimately achieved a remarkable 92% completion rate, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our organization's digital assets within the specified deadline.

Succession Planning: Keys to Success
I've been invited by GMA to cohost this immersive 6-hour masterclass, reaching out to GMA members across Atlanta, Thomasville, and Athens, GA. During this dynamic session, we equip participants with invaluable tools and actionable insights, enabling them to spearhead transformative succession plans within their agencies.

GMA Annual Conference Presentation: An Introduction to Succession Planning for Local Government
For the past three years, I have had the honor of being a featured presenter at the prestigious annual Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) Conference held in Savannah. This workshop has consistently attracted elected officials and city/county administrators eager to enhance their leadership capabilities.
Additionally, I've been invited to share this transformative workshop at the Small Cities Conference, reaching a select group of municipal agencies across the state of Georgia. These engagements have been instrumental in equipping local governments with the strategic tools needed to shape their future leadership landscape.
